The Magnesian Limestone rocks hidden away in the woods make it an ideal playground for the responsible boulderer. Problems of every grade can be found, up to the dizzy heights of 8b+. The nature of the rocks encourage steep and powerful climbing, often with an aspect of subtlety and grace, which really makes the bouldering unique.Traditionally, details have been surrounded by a veil of secrecy and for the first time in this guide information is formally documented. This decision was not taken lightly, as behaviour by climbers in the past has been very poor. It is hoped that climbers will behave responsibly to strengthen and not jeopardise access.
